Freiburg

Freiburg is located in the south-west of Germany, close to France and Switzerland. It is the entry point to the holiday region of the Black Forest and also situated in the heart of  a major whine-growing region. Freiburg is the warmest and sunniest city in Germany and known for its excellent standard of living. Freiburg has a lot to offer for everyone. Important sights include the ancient university, the Freiburg Minster, the old town hall, and the famous Bächle (=small canals throughout the city).
